BEAR TRAP REPORT Reported August 5, 2000 by a driver.

Interstate 25 in New Mexico,  Mile Marker NM 135  near Socorro.

The Driver did not give us any details abut the trap, but it sounds like the Socorro Town Government has asked the Highway Patrol to assign a Bear to the area to increase the funds in their coffers.  It is possible, this is the only Bear working traffic between Los Cruces and Albuquerque.
