Actually you need to be careful from Mile Marker 44 North to Mile Marker 92 in Mt Vernon 

Roger reported the trap in February 1999
Kevin confirmed the trap October 10,2000 and reports Bear is active from the I-24 junction North to the I-64 junction.

Kevin reports Bear is driving Mustangs, Camaros, Impalas and Monte Carlos,  They blend into traffic very well.  Use your radar in this area.
