Are laser jammers Legal?

Our research of State and Federal law show there are no laws prohibiting the use of laser jammers like there are for radar jammers.  Radar jammers cause spurious radio signals that the FCC does not like.  Laser jammers do not cause problematic radio signals and there are no known laws outlawing laser jammers.

However, it is illegal to speed and any police officer can issue a speeding citation if he is so inclined.  We do not believe he has any authority to cite you for possession of a laser jammer any more than possession of a reflective mirror.
