Confirmed March 25, 2006 by Ernest
Interstate 10 in Louisiana, Mile Marker 115 to 135, between Lafayette and Baton Rouge on the Basin Bridge.
Chris reports: "Going east slow down after second exit on bridge. Troopers are usually setting on the right hand side after fishing. Going west do 60 when you see the sign. But whenever you pass the first exit or see the Patrol car* it is safe to speed up a little. *REMINDER: There is only one Patrol car on the bridge at a time if you see it on the opposite side of the bridge you probably wont see another until you get off."
Randel reports: Speed reduces to 60mph on bridge traffic continues to move around 70-75. One bear on east and one on west. Looking for out of state easy to stop vehicles going 70 or more. Ticket for 74 cost $213.50. PAY OR GO TO COURT!!
Ermest reports: "Usually 1-2 state troopers on each span, east and west. Keep it at 65 or lower and you should be fine."
