Interstate 39 in Wisconsin, Mile Marker 136 near Plainfield WI.
This Driver reports: "Well, there is not much to tell the Waushara County deputy had indicated to me that, he had clocked me from the viaduct near the interchange of Wi-73 and I-39, and paced me for 1,793 ft before pulling me over. My ticket indicates the stop was made at I-39 and 51 B whatever the hell that means. Because I can't find it on the map. The equipment he used was a pro-laser II. I assume that he's using a new form of radar. (Actually it is a laser, not a radar) The car he was driving was a marked Ford Crown Victorian and the color was grew with red and blue stripes on the outside of the car. The car also had clear dome bar lights of red and blue on top, with strobe lights on grill. The stop was made this last Saturday night in the south bound lane about 6:10 pm. Also, one other thing I had been driving home to Illinois at a consistent speed of about 73mph and was being passed constantly so, I decided to speed up when I got to Stevens Point to 80 mph. Sometime after passing Plainfield WI he came on the road after me. However, I am almost sure someone had called it in. Maybe there was a camera truck or even a camera on the viaduct itself. I don't know. Hope information helps others." (Editor - Bear was probably on the "git on ramp" at MM-136)
