Interstate 80 in Iowa, Mile Marker 292 near Bettendorf, Davenport, IA.
This Driver reports: "Once you cross into Iowa on I-80 just get your hemorrhoid medicine out. From the Mississippi to I-280 you are a victim. The limit is 65 but they'll let you run +5. A trooper I know said "touch 71 around me and your license is mine". 292 is at the "Flying J" fuel stop. They like to sit on either side, in the grass or rolling. How do I know? I live nearby. I can sit in my drive and hear CB spotting. And I drive this area a lot. No actual traps, just stupid drivers not paying attention." Bears are creatures of habit.
