Interstate 86 in New York, between Exit Numbers 26 & 27 near Hinsdale NY.
This Driver reports: "Trap usually on the west bound lane facing east moving traffic, however it may also be in the median grassy area or cross-overs between this exit (27) and exit (26) for Olean, NY. Usually back in bushes, on the left side of the road, on a curve, just past the bridge/exit overpass in this exit 27 (Hinsdale, NY) area. Usually do not see laser used in this general area. Seem to prefer X-K-Ka Band radar, perhaps because of terrain and line of sight needed for laser."
