Interstate 57 Mile Marker 258 to 300 near Illinois State Police District 21 Headquarters..
This Driver reports: "Most days most often on Sunday the state police set a trap utilizing one trooper on the bridge with a laser gun that radars up to 7 squad cars ahead to pull over speeders. be ware detectors work great but the cops find ways around them and you will get caught here if not careful in the words of a trucker don't speed on I-57 between mile 275-300 cause that's the "hunting ground"" Bears are creatures of habit.
Malcreado reports: "Looks like last years trap is a little farther south. They have been around Rantoul south to Champaign. I only drive the route on Tuesdays, but I usually see them out in a wolf pack. one spotter 4-6 others pulling cars over. Watch the bridges and on-ramps."
