Interstate 81, Mile Marker 277 in Bowman's Crossing, Virginia.
This Driver reports: "Trooper sits in emergency crossover near the bottom of a slight grade and shoots southbound traffic. This site used in conjunction with another crossover at the 278." Bears are creatures of habit.
